The Boy Scouts of Tafari Makonnen website serves multiple purposes some of which are listed below. The website will be updated regularly as our membership grows and our needs change.
he purpose of this website is
• The website serves as a digital space where former boy scouts of TMS with shared interests of the past, goals for the future and planned activities can connect, interact, and collaborate,
• To foster a sense of belonging by connecting former boy scouts who might otherwise not meet.
• To Provide our boy scouts the platform to renew their friendships, develop new ones and exchange information and engage in discussion related to the boy scouts organization
• Organize former boy scouts to engage and collaborate on future projects
• Encourage meaningful discussions about the group's history and future, including potential initiatives such as documenting
our story or supporting the Boy Scouts’ headquarters.
• Sharing our individual stories and memorialization the stories of those boy scout friends who are not with us today
• Fostering the organization of regional and continental chapters and electing leaders for those chapters
• When the time comes organizing a jamboree of all former members
• To see if the boy scouts can be re-organized and renewed at the school
